About Us
We love funny cards! Over twelve years ago, from a spare bedroom in our house, we started an online shop (www.comedycard.co.uk) specialising in selling funny cards. Having gradually grown, year by year, we now stock a vast range of humorous cards from all the best publishers, both big and small which we sell to our happy customers who appreciate a bit of a giggle.
More recently we have been designing our own greeting cards. Initially we created these to sell on our own website, alongside the established publishers. However, to our delight (and surprise!), they sold really well which led us to create more and more designs and to then start offering our own cards to other retailers. We created this trade-only website and signed up to exhibit at our first Progressive Greetings Live trade show in 2022.
We are still quite new to publishing but we now have some lovely retailers who stock our cards as well as a wonderful agent that covers the London area.
Delighted to report that our photo caption range has recently been shortlisted for a Henries award for Best Humorous range! The Henries are the like for Oscars for the greeting card industry (but way more glamorous of course!).
